We're sorry...

We're sorry for the lack of updates at the moment, but we are both extremely busy with work and getting all things sorted out for when we leave.
You have to remember that this is a huge project, - We still haven't told you about many of the things that will happen. So you have something to look forward to :)

Both me and Martin have an appointment with the US embassy tomorrow morning to get our VISA applications approved, hopefully. After that, I will be leaving for a trip to Duesseldorf, Germany for the weekend.

We are also in the process of switching webhost to a much more stable webhost, so everything can be running perfectly while we are on the road.

Just to let you in on some of the things that are going on,Ii can tell you that we will be providing video during the trip, which should enable you to get a much closer look into both us and the things which will be taking place. But as always, much more on this later since I have to leave to catch the train :)

Have a great weekend - We sure will :)

Working Class Hero

I know that I promised you all that I would keep my mouth shut and not keep talking about my interesting summer job over and over again. But this has surely been a rough day and I just need someone who is willing to listen.
I really love this website:-)
I've been carrying boxes around the entire day, that probably weigh about a ton or more, talk about suffering for excellent photos... Well actually those boxes may not weigh a ton and maybe our photos in US might not all be excellent... But I'm sure you get the drift.

There is light in the dark, and things are going great for our project. But more about those relevant subjects later.. I am already counting days until we fly to New York.. Maybe I could persuade Michael to make one of those smart little sections for this website, with a little red number that counts how many days we got left here in Denmark. Or maybe not.. (Ed. Note - Damn, more work for me. What you don't do to please the "suffering" hero)

Welcome to the new readers...

Lately the traffic has been increasing quite a lot on our website, which we(and probably our sponsors) of course are very happy about. The numbers from last week alone was almost three times higher than our previous best week, so that's quite an increase.

Those of you who have been reading from the start know that Shaun Inman was kind enough to sponsor us a license of his statistics software called Mint. We have been using Mint everyday since and it is running beautifully. It's extremely easy to install and gives you a great and fast overview to see how everything is evolving with the website - So we highly recommend you take a look at it, if you need some great statistics for your own website.

We haven't been posting a lot lately, but that doesn't mean the project has come to a stop. Nothing could be further from the truth - The main reason for the lack of updates is mainly because Martin is still working at Danish Crown to raise money for the trip, and we are both working hard at all the planning, contacting sponsors, photographers, media and so on. A lot of time is also spend on creating a CMS system, so we can easily update this webpage when we are on the road. It's a huge job getting a project like this off the ground, but neither me nor Martin knows the word "quit" :)

Partnership with Rejsefeber

Great news! We have started a partnership with a Scandinavian travel-agency called Rejsefeber.
They have kindly "sponsored" our planetickets to and from the US, which is a great help in realizing this project. The reason I write sponsored in citation marks, is because this is not a regular sponsorship, but a partnership. So while Rejsefeber supply us with planetickets, we have an assignment of shooting a larger number of travel related images that they can use on their website and marketing-material across all departments in Scandinavia.

One of the great things about Rejsefeber and the people we are working with, is the level of enthusiasm they show for our project. And while we have been received a great deal of positive and enthused feedback, it's especially great to meet people who are almost as enthusiastic about this as we are ourselves.
This is also a great opportunity for us to put our knowledge into use and hopefully produce some great images for them and another place to show our work. It's a win-win situation :)

So if you are looking to take a trip somewhere, be sure to check out Rejsefeber - They are great people and will go a long way to help realize your trip.

We are greatly looking forward to working with Rejsefeber(and our other sponsors of course) on this project, and who knows where this will take us in the future.

Remember - Dreams do come true if you dare follow them :)

US....tour

"Pictures Pictures!" the noisy mob kept shouting and in the end they finally got their pictures, or at least some shots.
Several of the pictures we are showing have won prizes in varius photo competitions, while others have been selected to show the versatility in our work as photographers.
It was very difficult choosing only 10 pictures to represent our work, but we sure hope you find them interesting, because this is clearly just the beginning..

Finally! Images online...

We have finally gotten a few examples of our previous work online, so if you look at our profiles under "About us", you will be able to find some examples below the text.

We apologize for the delay - It was not just because we like to make you wait ;)
